Designed and produced all editorial features and monthly covers. Photographed events and special features, and concepted and created video content for events and website storytelling. Collaborated closely with the production manager during press checks to ensure brand consistency and print quality. Prepared all production-ready files and guided advertisers and contributors through design and production processes when needed.

ART DIRECTOR, CANON COMMUNICATIONS
2004-2009
Art Director for two monthly publications, leading a full magazine redesign and presenting design concepts to a global team. Directed multimedia campaigns and conducted market and audience research to inform visual strategy. Designed and produced a live, daily newspaper for the world’s largest plastics industry trade show in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Managed the design and production of two monthly publications, coordinating overlapping deadlines and independent teams of editors and contributors. Collaborated closely with editors on story development, headlines, workflow, and publication standards, pairing strong narratives with effective imagery and layout. Partnered with the Marketing Director on extended design initiatives including annual media kits, sales collateral, in-house advertising (print, video, and digital), contractor management, trade show support, and event photography.

 
PROJECT MANAGER AND MARKETING GRAPHIC DESIGNER, REED PHOTO IMAGING
2002-2004
Worked as the primary liaison between the in-house production team and approximately 200 client accounts, partnering with agencies, galleries, museums, and independent artists nationwide. Served as a designer on in-house campaigns, including the creative and visual rollout for the company’s gallery opening. Prepared all production-ready files and guided advertisers and contributors through design and production processes to ensure clarity, efficiency, and high-quality results.
